Career Coaching Update

Spring career coaching starts Monday, January 5. Coaching availability is updated on Handshake. Note that there will be no coaching availability the week of January 12-16 in lieu of Graduate Career Week events. Normal coaching availability will resume on January 20.

Our Services

Career Coaching – Book a 1-on-1 coaching appointment with a career coach to receive support at any stage of your career journey. Our coaches will help you clarify your career goals, discuss effective job search strategies, and streamline your application process.

Digital Career Resources – Find tailored resources on resume writing, interview prep, networking, and more. Our online toolkit contains the most current resources to help you advance your job search.

Career Events & Workshops – Brush up on your career management skills or learn something new about the most effective ways to conduct a job search. We offer virtual and in-person workshops throughout the academic year.

Who We Serve

At Georgetown University, there are many career centers available to graduate students based on program of study.

The Graduate Career Center housed within The Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GSAS) provides career management resources to these graduate student groups:

GSAS master’s degree and doctoral students in the arts, humanities, social sciences and interdisciplinary programs.

Graduate professional degree seeking students in The School of Continuing Studies (SCS) programs have access to our virtual contract coaches, via Handshake.
