Book an Appointment
The Graduate Career Center offers 30-minute, one-on-one coaching appointments. You have the option to meet in-person at the Car Barn, Suite 210, or virtually via Zoom or Handshake video. Students can make up the three coaching appointments per semester.
Preparing for your Appointment
We often request additional information prior to your appointment to ensure that our time together is efficient and productive. Please review our pre-coaching checklist and FAQs page ahead of your appointment to get a clearer idea of what will be asked of you and to have clear expectations.
Cancellation Policy
We aspire to coach and support as many students as we can but individual appointments are limited. Please review our coaching and appointment cancellation policy prior to booking an appointment:
- Students can make up to three coaching appointments per semester.
- To ensure that others have an opportunity to meet with a coach, we do require 48 hours for an appointment cancellation.
- Appointments must be cancelled in Handshake.
- If you cancel an appointment with less than 48 hours notice, we will not be able to reschedule an appointment with you until after the semester peak period. Peak period is typically the first 6 weeks of the semester.
How to Make an Appointment
1. Login to Handshake
2. Navigate to Career Center >> Appointments >> Schedule A New Appointment
3. Choose Graduate Students
4. Select your appointment type and book any available slot
