Annie Rao, Director Annie Rao is a career development professional who helps job-seekers identify and achieve their career goals. In her current role as the Director of the Graduate Career Center at Georgetown University, she ensures that Georgetown graduate students are able to explore career options, identify opportunities that align with their goals and connect with employers and alumni to find gainful employment upon graduation. Prior to this role, Annie served as Director of Graduate Career Management at the George Washington University School of Business, where she was responsible for career coaching and career education services for 1,800 full-time, part-time and online M.B.A. and M.S. candidates. Before entering the Higher Education sector, Annie spent 15 years in industry, primarily in Marketing and Business Analytics roles at organizations such as National Geographic, American Express, AOL and PwC. She holds an M.B.A. from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University. Annie is a DC area native and currently resides in Washington, DC with her family. She enjoys taking of advantage of all the artistic, culinary, intellectual and natural beauty that Washington, DC has to offer.

Clark Boothby, Assistant Director, Student Experience and Assessment Clark Boothby Clark will help to develop the center’s service delivery model and assess its effectiveness as we grow to meet the needs of our large and diverse graduate student population. His unique background in data & information management as well as educational assessment will allow him to use a data-driven approach to continuously improve the center’s outreach, educational programs, and digital resources.
Clark joins Georgetown’s Graduate Career Center from the F. David Fowler Career Center at The George Washington University School of Business, where he served as Data and Operations Manager. In this role, he served a variety of technical and administrative functions, which included supervising a team of staff and student workers, running large-scale career programs and events, and monitoring the School’s career systems and outcome data.
Before working in career services, Clark’s background and education focused on survey research and the design of innovative educational assessment. He worked at the Centre for Educational Measurement at the University of Oslo, as part of a team tasked with designing situational and game-based assessments to measure students’ 21st century skills. Prior to his time in Norway, he worked at Hanover Research, designing and conducting research studies for K-12 and Higher Ed institutions globally.
Clark is constantly looking for ways to solve problems using the data at-hand, but always does so with a human touch. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to help students navigate their own career twists and turns and help them develop stronger employment skills along the way. Clark earned a BA in History and Public Policy and an MA in Survey Research and Analysis from the University of Connecticut as well as an MA in Educational Leadership from The George Washington University.
